Just posted in GTL...

Surely others want to use this software for LONG TERM projects like a new
bridge being built, a building going up, or in my case a garden growing the
entire season, start to finish.

Using the 'sleep' function, EVERY DAY STARTS A NEW FOLDER WITH EACH IMAGE
RESTARTING AT 1 !!!!

That means a 1 year project, shooting EVERY DAY, will create THREE HUNDRED AND
SIXTY FIVE FOLDERS, EACH of which must then be HAND (even batch - but still it's
365 folders to 'batch' process one at a time) NUMBERED to keep the sequence in
order!!!

It seems to me a VERY simple thing to add a 'check box' that says something like
"keep all days in same folder in sequence" and does just that.

I'm beginning to think that GTB is NOT going to work for my 8 month garden project :(
I'm just not sure I'll be able to covert THOUSANDS of frames in HUNDREDS of folders
and stay even remotely interested in the final product.

Just bought a Pclix.com device and will try that with a wall timer, AC adapter, and different
camera. I'm just trying to accomplish a goal and I don't think that GTB is up to the
challenge. Pclix at least would force all images into the same SD card - I might have
5 or 6 32 GB cards to process after 8 months, but dealing with HUNDREDS of folders with
every image starting over at "1" is just not going to be very workable.
